The year 4 course is a great introduction to the 11+ and provides strong foundation to build upon. It helps develop students' knowledge and confidence in a friendly environment. Importantly, it also assists parents in providing a structure to their child's learning outside of school. In short, the course delivers the Head Start it sets out to achieve!
 

My boys really enjoyed the Year 4 head start course. They always looked forward for the day when they needed to attend the tuition. The course has helped them to progress. I highly recommend it. Thank you for all your efforts.
 

Both of my daughters took the Y4 11 plus Head Start course (2 years apart) . Both of them thoroughly enjoyed the lessons, looked forward to the next week and made some new acquaintances from other nearby schools. Being in a small group works really well. They particularly enjoyed the introduction to NVR. This early course most definitely gave essential knowledge and great confidence when they commenced the Y5 course. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. If I had any more children I would be registering them too ! 
 

I can honestly say that the Year 4 11+ Headstart course has made such a difference to my daughter’s academic achievement and confidence levels. Although my daughter was very nervous to start with, Angela was so kind and patient and has managed to push my daughter out of her comfort zone to achieve what she is truly capable of! We are so pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend this course to any parent thinking about enrolling their child.
 

To Joe, thank you so much for all your help and being an amazing teacher. [My daughter]  has learnt so much from you and it’s definitely put her at the top of the class for maths. In her last 2 reports she’s exceeded expectations which is amazing. 
 

Your course, and of course the lovely Lynne, were instrumental in [my son]’s success.  
 

[My daughter] got 3 yeses. Thanks again to yourself and Davina for your fabulous expert guidance.
 

[my son] did a number of mocks through yourself and I thought I should let you know he got 3 yeses!! Just wanted to pass on our thanks as the mocks really helped him prepare for the actual exam. 
 

Just wanted to say that [my son] has passed his 11plus and got three yes’s so we are supper happy. Thank you very much, the mock exams helped him and gave him confidence on the actual exam. He loved the mock exams and was so looking forward to see his results after each test.

Hi Vicky , just to let you know we 've received Colyton test result just minute ago and ]my daughter]'s got eligible score , we are so happy , I know it's still not place in Colyton but they said that if Colyton is our first preference, they would expect her to have a place in September, thank you so much for your help , she is missing you and your lessons.

A sample of my emails from October 18th 2014 when Yes/No letters arrived. Every one of these children was subsequently offered a place at their first choice grammar school. 
 

Hi Jane, Just to say that [our son] got a yes letter from the Grammar School which we are all thrilled about-hopefully that means another yes next March!
We have already said thank you to Gill for her wonderful support and encouragement but we also wanted to say thank you to you too. We have been so impressed with your organisation and hard work. The mock exams with focused feedback have been so useful and [our son] felt that they had definitely prepared him for the real exams. We have already recommended your tutoring group to three other families! It has been wonderful to see [our son] grow in confidence over the past year-he is a different boy!

Taking mock exams really helped us focus on where to give him help. 
Also doing the summer revision really helped as it stopped the summer brain rot setting in.
